Provision for students with special educational needs

Junior School

The Junior School provides Specialist Tuition for students who have special educational needs. These 50 minute sessions are taught by a qualified specialist teacher and carry an additional charge to parents (currently £34 per hour).

All pupils within the Junior School who are on the SEN Register have an Individual Education Plan which targets their individual learning needs.

Senior School

The Senior School offers the provision of Learning Support for students who have special educational needs .These sessions are free of charge and are taken in place of Latin in Year 7, and in place of a second language option in Years 8 -11. We can also offer Specialist Tuition which is generally taken with one other stud

ent in a shared session with a specialist teacher. The Specialist Tuition option carries an extra charge to parents, of £34 per hour.

Sixth Form

A number of our Sixth Form students continue to access learning support by continuing with Specialist Tuition sessions or attending a regular ‘Drop-in’ session.
