Creativity in the Nursery School! - DSCF1828

On Thursday 10th of March Mr Howling[ father of Zoe in the Swans class ] came in to the Nursery School to make wind spinners made out of old plastic bottles. What a wonderful way to recycle materials . It was a perfect day to make them as well, as there was more than a gentle breeze blowing outside! It formed part of the Swan\'s topic work on Weather and proved to be a fantastic way to discover that you can’t see the wind but you can definitely see what it moves . The children really enjoyed decorating their bottles and Mr Howling then skilfully cut into them so they would spin once erected on the Nursery school fence . We have been watching them do so ever since . Thank you Mr Howling for enriching our Early Years Curriculum.
