Holiday Club

Many thanks to the parents who responded to the request for ideas and opinions on holiday clubs. As highlighted in the Easter letter to parents, the School has been working with Activate Sport to enhance and extend the current programme on offer.

Details of the programme for the summer holidays at Ratcliffe are shown below. Early registration is encouraged, including for siblings not currently at Ratcliffe, as we shall notify local schools on 14th May, of the opportunity to participate in the programme.

2nd – 6th August Gold Medal Games Week (Olympic themed week with activities such as tennis, basketball, fencing, martial arts, handball, badminton, hockey, gymnastics, swimming and football)

9th – 13th August Andrew Flintoff Cricket Academy (covering all aspects of cricket, video analysis and a visit from Freddie himself or a past or present England International player)

16th – 20th August Adventure Week (climbing, abseiling, archery, wide games, bungee running, swimming, assault courses, orienteering)

It is also planned to host a programme during the first week of the October half-term, which would take the form of a three-day Matt Dawson Rugby Academy and a two-day Hockey Camp. Further details will follow shortly.

Activate Sport Day Camps for children aged 5 to 16 years.

Courses run from 9.30am – 4.30pm (optional early drop off/late collection 8.30am – 5.30pm)
