Nursery School
Welcome to the Nursery School!
The Nursery at Ratcliffe College is based in a purpose-built unit in the picturesque grounds of Ratcliffe College. Whilst the Nursery School is separate from the main school, the youngest children are very much part of the whole school family, and benefit fully from the outstanding facilities at the College . The class sizes are small, enabling the experienced staff to recognize each child's unique needs. We believe in providing a broad and balanced curriculum that values past experiences and then builds upon them. The Nursery School is a warm, safe and stimulating child-centred environment, where each child has the opportunity to flourish and develop their God given talents and potential. The staff aim to lay those firm foundations upon which all future learning can be based. The ISI 2010 inspection report concluded that the overall effectiveness of the setting is outstanding in meeting the needs of children and fulfilling both the whole school’s aims and its own dedicated aim of valuing each child’s past experiences and building on them.
